Really fun, doesn't get tedious or offensive since it's short and simple. Lots of guns and violence. Definitely necessary viewing for Reno fans - especially since you get to see Reno play Dance Dance Revolution.

I really like the tagline for this movie: "Quite possibly the greatest french language, english subtitled, japanese action comedy of all time." So true, so true. It's just so fun to watch.

I wasn't expecting much, but it was kinda fun. Light and naive, clearly of the early 2000s, yet didn't age too badly: no weird pedo vibe, not too cruel on characters in drag, no super blatant racism either. You get the fashion, the theme, and the hopefulness without the cringe. There is a good balance of flaws and qualities in the characters, and the comic relief guy is not even too annoying, which is kinda rare. The actress' accent was a bit rough, but you could tell she was still giving it all

Watched this around four years ago and knew very little about it and maybe watched one trailer, so basically went into it blind. Wow, what a thrilling surprise to find such an enjoyable light entertainment flick. It still remains quite fresh in my mind which is certainly a good sign. Besson's story is so good at blending so many genres together. The actors are really good in their roles, the 'yakuza' stuff gets a little silly but that's ok.

37?! Mein Gott! The PSI's never failed me this badly before. I love Wasabi. Love it. It's a genuinely good movie. Just watched it for the third time (last time must've been in '04 or '05), and I believe I enjoyed it even more than the last time. I'd rate it much, much higher if it wasn't for the fact that it climaxes way too fast--it's like someone went 'woops; gotta wrap it up!' in the last 15 minutes of the film, which is disappointing since the opening hour is tons of fun.

So anyway I made the mistake of getting hold of an un-translated version of the film once and decided it wasn't worth it to watch the whole thing, instead skipping through the scenes until I reached Jean Reno awkwardly playing DDR, being cheered on by a bunch of young folk. Amazing.

I have no idea how anyone could confuse this movie with León. It's got Jean Reno in it, true. But that's approximately where the similarity ends.

A lot of fun, this film made me think of a French Clint Eastwood. He roughs up a handful of bad guys at the driving range, barely breaking a sweat. Entertaining to watch but could have used some better production quality control with regards to the English sub-titles which did not match the dubbed English spoken by the players. Easy enough to turn off but kinda sloppy just the same.

Movies written by Luc Besson and including actors such as Jean Reno and Carole Bouquet are always fun to watch. Having said that, this was not the "creme de la creme" of Besson, Reno, nor of Bouquet's films. It was a relatively fluffy action flick, with a nice dose of humorous moments to keep the audience amused. Perfectly acceptable for a relaxing night of light-hearted, easy-to-digest movie watching.

If you like Jean Reno in The Professional...well, this is different. It's very much like Clint Eastwood going from Dirty Harry and "The Man With No Name" westerns to Any Which Way But Loose. This is a cheezy, silly action movie. Think Reno playing Dance Dance Revolution, and having fun at it. That's not to say this is a bad movie. In fact, it's a great movie. But it's of a slightly different genre than you might expect.

Jean Reno kicking ass in Japan for some bullshit reason. Meh. It was entertaining enough.

Quite similair to Leon: The Professional. While the movie is good this has indeed been done before. Still it remains entertaining, especially if you enjoyed Leon: The Professional.

Second rate attempt to recapture the magic of Leon: The Professional. It has a few choice moments of violence or comedy, but it's mostly missable.

Fluffy as hell, and full of goofiness, it works because it's so lighthearted. The scene where Jean Reno is knocking out bad guys while Ryoko Hirosue shops is hilarious.
