Top badass moment? For being a movie that never, ever, lets realism get in the way of a good story. And what's with the random crying fit Annie has in in the middle of the film? She suddenly turns from being a sassy, good-looking, nerd-loving female sidekick, into a total cry-baby. Still, I guess her and Will go on to live happily ever after. Oh wait, Will is probably in prison for years for hacking and nearly starting a World War... if it was realistic. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

Amazes me that peopled ranked this as high as a 10. I gave it 2 just for being in color. Don't know if it's worse to think of it as a sequel or a remake. Either way may cause abdominal distress.

When you are such an epic gamer the government thinks you are terrorist lmao. Cheesy, very stupid, enjoyable trash, it has that “National Treasure 2004” vibe but not the same charm as the original, the guy lacks charisma and acting skills. The whole Falken story was just a very lazy attempt at connecting the two movies, they should have made a remake and not this weird sequel, although I did enjoyed seeing Joshua again, definitely better than Ripley

This stands up pretty well as a sequel. There are lots of great references to the original, and the film is well done in general.

WarGames: The Dead Code was more of a poor remake then a legit sequel. Stick to the original

Wargames is one of the best films ever. Wargames 2 started off as a cheap cash-in with a poor script, unknown actors, horribly modernised story (This time its Terrorists and the Internet, not Russia and Nuclear War) that was all set to be a forgettable disaster. But then it takes a MASSIVE turnaround and becomes a worthy successor.

Certainly not as great as the original, but scary the subject matter. I loved that Joshua played a role. Wish they could have had more of the original players.
