War Flowers

The lives of a southern woman, her daughter, a wounded confederate soldier and his General father intersect in this period drama about love, hope, family, and perseverance amidst loss and corruption. I usually don't like dramas, but this one was just right. It had some minor flaws: some actors could have done better and the magical-realism could have been toned down; but if you can see past them you will find a very enjoyable and satisfying movie underneath.
