This movie ranks itself in an elite category much like Tranformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen for being one of the upmost worst films I have ever seen. Possibly the reason dinosaurs are now extinct.

I put it on mute and played Textures by Brian Eno over the whole thing, and it became one of my favorites of the year. DO NOT WATCH IT NORMALLY.

Why are all 3D films so disappointing? stop filming in 3D, stop advertising it as superb or whatever, because it's shit; and the same was here. The film is otherwise somewhat ok (for kids obviously), even though I expected more of it, specially in educational sense.

Adults, used to having something for them slipped into children's movies will be disappointed. The story is very basic. The "Tusk" sequence was the best part. Viewed in 2D.

So think of Walking With Dinosaurs as a souped-up 5th-grade science class filmstrip, with just enough drama to keep kids interested for at least three-quarters of the running time and just enough information and learning-emphasis to make the teacher happy with the time spent. (pluggedin.com)

This is how you DON’T make a Walking with Dinosaurs movie. Add voices for no needed reason and not even bother to sync their mouths. Add on top of them some of the worst humour as well. Barely a plot, if you call it that and the constant names of Dinosaurs popping up on the screen was really irritating. They completely missed the point why the original Walking with Dinosaurs TV series worked.

The dinosaur animations are quite good, and there are many other rich detailed visuals. Some interesting factual information. The story, script, dialog, and especially the dialog are clearly directed toward a very young audience. The voice actors almost completely undermine the high quality of the video presentation. The constant, often annoying, sometimes idiotic chatter over every scene quickly gets tiresome for the adult viewers.

As if the annoying dialog wasn't bad enough (imagine every character being as irritating as Sid the Sloth from Ice Age), they had to play Tusk by the USC Condom marching band...

Unless you're 4 years old. AVOID. Trailers are completely misleading.

Some really attractive animation and visuals, but good God that canned voiceover dinosaur chatter is inane. It's nonstop, too--these are the chattiest goddamn dinosaurs that ever walked the earth. Shut up and let us enjoy the nifty 3D, willya? Quit talking about butts and/or poop! Trust us! We'll like and understand the movie without your yammering, we promise!

It's never funny, it's never thrilling, and with the greatest of respect to the arduous 'educational' narration, you ain't gon' learn nothin'. Only the youngest kids are likely to enjoy this silly, tedious mess.

Jurassic Park meets Ice Age meets Ice Age 2 meets Ice Age 3 meets Ice Age 4 meets Ice Age 5... I have to admit tho, the inclusion of a certain song (I'm thinking Trojans, you're thinking Fleetwood Mac) was really surprising, and that was probably the only thing I liked about this lackluster.
