Waiting for Love

There are variations on different themes... repeated actions, wardrobes, bits of dialogue. Each couple is in a state of some sort of stagnation, and it seems that Lee feels long-term relationships are inevitably destined to fail. But there's an undercurrent of optimism, the lingering possibility that these people could somehow get their shit together and make it work. None of the couples end with either an entirely positive or negative note... but perhaps simply doomed to repeat themselves.
