Polarizing tale of a raped clown. Must be seen to be comprehended, as it plays the goofy stuff fairly straight. Surprisingly powerful performance from Brian O'Halloran.

Repeat after me: There is no such thing as a bad movie where a clown gets violated.

Worth watching, though thoroughly frustrating to describe to a third party without sounding like a psychopath. I can't say the words "clown rape" without the feeling that someone else has already judged me very harshly for putting those words together.

As a teenager, I was a big Kevin Smith fan, which exposed me to the View Askewniverse. Needless to say, my opinion of Smith and everyone surrounding him changed after seeing this abomination.

Top badass moment? Having to accept that a clown can be the good guy. I'm not sure I’ve the mental capacity to integrate such a perceptional, quantum shift into my world view. Tonally, this film's all over the place more than West Ham’s performances this season. And more generally I’ve realised that clowns simply aren’t funny... at all. Squirty flowers? Big shoes? Baggy trousers? Cars that fall to bits? (Okay, the latter is a bit funny.) No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

Takes you to disgusting places you never wanted to go and truly makes you soak them in. Brutal and harrowing, but able to flip it around and land the humor. One of the biggest surprise discoveries I've made this year and easily the best thing Kevin Smith put his name on next to Clerks.

While it was often hard to watch, the acting was there. Brian O'Halloran, who kitches it up most of the time, was surprisingly good, though sad. The quality isn't there, and the budget is missing, and I could've done without seeing Kevin Smith's giant face, but oh well.

Vulgar is pretty vulgar, the characters aren't pretty and the story isn't either. What makes this movie worth watching in my opinion is how nothing is really obvious, its hard to guess at whats coming next, and its genuinely well acted from the star of clerks.

Disturbing, but actually well acted for the most part. Low budget but it doesn't need a whole lot of money to tell this story. Not the comedy people would think it is especially with the people involved. Uncomfortable to watch, but well done.

This film will have you wondering how a movie like this even gets made. Disturbingly watchable.

It's not a great film by any means, but there are a few dark, possibly even disturbing (though I don't get disturbed really) scenes.
