I appreciated the three stories somewhat on their own (with a special mention to the second part, which could very well have been its own film with higher marks), but the cohesion somewhat undercuts the message meant to be shared between them. For most of the film there is a clear terror about the future being able to survive against strangling social constraints; but the very last moments, uplifting though they may be, feel like a cop out answer to the question proposed.
