A movie that wants to feel natural and realistic but that forces characters together with such contrived coincidence that the invisible hand of the screenwriter is clearly felt. What's worse; nothing of value is achieved through these contrivances. Not one character progresses, nothing is learned, nothing improves and everyone's sad forever, the end.

Quite good Icelandic film which ties together multiple stories in a vein of 21 grams, Pulp Fiction etc. While that story vehicle feels a bit outdated by now, this film still manages to create something fresh from it. Recommended to fans of indie/Nordic cinema.
