Volcano!

Zabette de Chauvalons returns to Martinique to discover that her father has died and that his estate is now in the hands of her evil stepmother. Because of her dark complexion, she is forced to live in the island's mulatto district, where she is lusted after by native Quembo and admired by aristocrat Stephane Sequineau, who vows to take her away from such disagreeable surroundings. Meanwhile, a volcanic eruption is imminent nearby.
