Argentine western flavored drama from Mario Soffici. Only the second film I've seen of the director, but there is a lot of qualities I like from what I've seen. This one, a little on the simplistic side. Shares a bit from low budget US based westerns, but there does seem to be a deeper heart in what goes on. At the same time, there is not that much beside the melodrama that drives Viento norte [North Wind] (1937). Hope to explore more of the director.
