Great footage of the fall of Caucescu, with perspectives both narrow and wide of those final days as unrest turns into disorder, then into chaos and finally into a new peace. It shows how much media and perception can shape one's view of reality, as even after all this footage there are a lot of questions that remain unanswered. I'm not a fan of the occasional commentary and the more flamboyant editing devices, though. They feel intrusive and rarely give enough insight to justify themselves.

This is a hidden gem, because there aren't many movies that show you what happens after the crowd disperses. Old fellas from the Party of Causescu taking the reigns after 48 hrs was incredibly striking from our POV 20-something years later. A great recommend for anyone who is into this kind of thing - how power functions, changes hands etc. A great one.
