Victory

Close to a scene to scene remake of the 1919 silent film, except for a few changes with the end which in the silent was rather gruesome as far as the glasses guy was concerned. It's still a better cast version and perhaps a easier film to enjoy then the slightly simpler 1919 film. The bad guys and their distinguished vocabulary was the lifeblood along with watching Frederich March try being a off-character. They could have done better with the ending, but nevertheless at times a haunting film.
