Vice Squad

A hooker gets strong-armed into working undercover with the vice cops to catch a violent pimp named Ramrod. After being arrested, Ramrod swears to kill the hooker and escapes, leading the cops all over town in a race to find her first. Nicely captures a feeling of desperation and filth without being very explicit, and Wings Hauser is a complete nutcase as the psychotic pimp. Great exploitation flick and a nice little time capsule of the underbelly of big city life in the early 80s.

Comedic masterpiece. "BLINK YOUR EYES, MOTHERFUCKER...AND YOU DIE IN THE DARK!"

A sleaze-fest yes, but a rather boring one. While it certainly looked good with the strong and warm colors, that almost had a transcendental feeling to them, it fails on delivering something special on other levels. The characters and the plot are so basic, I never got involved with what was happening. At least the ending was quite nasty, but until that the movie tested my endurance.

Comical nonsense that is so desperately trying to be a gritty 70s style thriller about pimps and hookers and violence on the streets but comes across as so try-hard that it sounds more camp than gritty
