This is the kind of character I want to spend time with. He has enough time to master the Black Arts, but he has accrued enough enemies doing so that it necessitates raising multiple zombie lady assassins. Naschy is occasionally characters that he really doesn't need to be in these things and it makes me wonder if he just didn't want to pay additional actors. Another fun tale of horror that played very well in October.

Intriguing premise is unfortunately hampered by plodding pacing and bad dubbing, however it's never boring though also rarely scary, coming to life briefly during a few gory decapitations (and the early appearance of a zombie resembling Ozzy Osbourne is good for a chuckle). Bargain basement production values are also a hindrance, but at least the film doesn't rely on excessive gore or sexual violence like others of its ilk. Really for genre hounds only, though you could do much worse!

This was fun. Although a bit cheap looking, especially some of the make-up "effects" and the general set design, there was a baseline level of competence that kept it watchable, and some of the performances were decent. The quite ludicrous plot was interesting enough, and there were some decent scenes dotted throughout. The soundtrack really goes full on funky jazz throughout, which doesn't help the atmosphere, but lends itself well to this overall garish and slightly confusing experience.

Paul Naschy being all I can be Peter Sellers too and making us sit through 90 minutes of impenetrable jazzy voodoo boobarama

Fun gothic horror with some giallio sensibilities tossed in for a lark. The pacing is a bit plodding and visual design dull but one can never complain about undead vixens doing satanic deeds while wearing black see through night gowns with nothing underneth.
