Named after a band they didnʼt get permission to play. This would have been a great reason to scrap the entire thing, but it gets a pat on the back for (heavy-handedly) centring early modern vocal music. Later I read the dissertation of the musical director (who has a small role as the organist) for a school paper on number symbolism in Bach – not brilliant, but it did introduce me to Cassirer.
