This movie is fun and has a lot of charm between the art design and the plot. A bit one sided sometimes but very interesting if you like epoch movies.

A triumph story for people who can invent masterpieces from nothing. If he does not have meat, he will replace it with something the feaster can never figure out what, because it tastes so good. The love triangle behind the fasade of Louis XIV was nothing special. Tim Roth made an exceptional point out role though.
