Shiiiiiit. I'll never listen to the who again! And no, that's not me lamenting a useless covid-vaccination.

The biggest problem is (presumably) Corman's tight-fistedness, so the movie looks cheap. But the script is pretty good, & more to the point, faithful & in keeping w/ the spirit of the original magazine. The acting isn't great but larger-than-life fantasy characters are tough to pull off. Both leads do their best though w/ Daltrey falling into some overacting. & while Julie Strain might look like Vampi, Soto brings a necessary softness Strain wouldn't have. She also looks great in latex too

Ah the 90s, when a surprising amount of comic book movies got made. This one has a comparatively decent script where a lot of authentic story gets worked through in just 82 minutes. And an actress that looks effin sexy in latex. But that's about it; the rest is decidedly 90s direct-to-video schlock. Not so bad it's good, but just bad enough that it's mildly amusing and annoying at the same time.

Kitana from Mortal Kombat dropped her tight outfit for an even tighter and much more skimpy outfit here in this flick. She is such a beauty it's worth just watching her for an hour and a half, then you get the added bonus of having a good laugh or two at the sheer cheesiness and really bad effects.

Such a let down with terrible casting. Just because she's hot doesn't make Talisa a good Vampi. While Roger Daltrey holds the role of worst Dracula possible.
