The drunken dive was fantastic and the bitch fight between Robert Young & Evelyn Venable was fun, but besides that this comedy was mostly a downer. A joint effort of MGM and Hal Roach and it struggled to click. The leads just didn't seem destined and one had trouble feeling for either of them. Thankfully there were guys like Frank Craven & Forrester Harvey there to help when the couple where having their troubles and it picked up steam quite well at the end which saved it.
