V.I. Warshawski

Kathleen Turner özel dedektif olursa. Eski beyzbol oyuncusunun ölmesi sonucu küçük kızının korumalığını anlatan film, kirli işlere bulaşan bir şirketin sırlarını ortaya döküyor. 90 lı yılların seksiliği, kıvırcık saçlar, flörtler, ilginç şakalar ve disko müziği, filmi izlenilir kılsa da boş 1 film. Filmin sonunda, aile canavar çıkıyor. Para çocukta. Kırdığın cevizler bacak arasını aştı.

Kathleen Turner works remarkably well with what she was given; definitely nails it as the independent, tough, wisecracking PI. Too bad Warshawski's character from the novels was butchered by three male screenwriters who felt the need to heavily tone her down. The whole baby-sitting part was pretty lame. Bonus points for the Chicago background, though.

Without Turner and Durning this would be nothing, but with them this is an enjoyable way to pass the time. I especially liked the scene with the nutcracker.

Rather conventional detective story except that the hero is a chick, but Kathleen Turner carries it all thanks to her bottomless charisma. And OOH GOD THOSE LEGS
