Ustedes, los ricos

The sequel to Nosotros los pobres (1948), and here the tone is overall lighter. More fun and comedy, also very direct and brutal when it came to the drama. Spectacularly so. Almost gimmicky when it came to violence and tragedy. In many ways I would say these films are done more entertaining than meaningful because of the abrupt changes in pace. For the drama doesn't feel deep, but at the same time the mood swings are heavy.
