Based on the urban legend about the thirty-something video game translator who dies after watching a shitty movie he finds by putting "Full Movie" in the youtube search box .

Although I've got a nostalgic soft spot for this subpar slasher, unfortunately, this sequel isn't nearly as "clever" as it thinks it is. While it wants to evoke the essence of Hitchcock thrillers, it's really just more leftover 90's slasher fare. Still, I can't hate it, but this recent rewatch knocked a lot of the fun nostalgic charms off of it for me. Fans of the series should stop here unless they want to dive deep into the trashy horror cheese of the "spiritual" straight-to-video sequel.

Hahaha, I love the scene where the girl is trying to get away from the killer, she doesn't stop screaming

Fuckin horrible. Even more so insulting for the incredibly dumbass take on the lives of film students. An annoying little film.

Pretty horrible horror movie. The deaths had nothing to do with any urban legends I've ever heard.

Good follow up to the original. Solid cast and not too much gore. Some decent scripting/directing makes for an overall well made slasher flick. And wait? Is that a young and awesomely stunning Eva Mendez i see breaking thru there? It is! Oh how wonderful cinema is.

In a sea of post Scream meta horror films this one stands out as one of the best. Doesn’t play so much with the tropes of the genre so much as it does take down the people that are interested in film and the type of dweebs that attend film school. The characters are a little broad but it works. With an actual eye for what they’re doing influenced by giallo and early de Palma. Underrated gem that has aged far better than most in its era

I see why this gets a lot of hate, but here's my hot take: I think I enjoyed it more than the first one. It's not trying to be this deadly-serious mystery, & because of that the stuff that's especially stupid or that doesn't make much sense is easier to digest. The cast is kind of insane in retrospect, with a lot of talent on the table. The little cameo at the end was great, & while the characters could've been better I didn't hate them all. Cheesy, dumb bit of fun that I had a decent time with.

Really believe this is better than the average score, not to say it's great, but it is solid entertainment. The film and the creators take a more light hearted approach to this one, so relax and enjoy, why so serious.

At Alpine University, one senior student will be awarded the prestigious Hitchcock Award for best thesis film, virtually guaranteeing the winner a film career in Hollywood. Amy, Travis and Graham are student filmmakers who would love to make it big in Hollywood. But first they've got to survive their last semester at Alpine, a renowned film school where the competition is killer -- and someone is killing the competition.

The plot unfolds like some sort of disjointed fever dream, and not in a good way.

The film "in-jokes" were pretty lame and brain-dead, the plot makes very little sense (how many red herrings did they need?), and the characters are so unbelievably idiotic (even for a dumb horror film) that it's distracting.

The first has not big deal, but this sequel is really bad, no suspense, a stupid movie and no reason to exist.

Oh ho ho! Atleast the annoying ass characters are being killed...in some of the lamest ways possible, but hey, they're dying.

This picture is so loose it rarely bothers with continuity & the story is weak. Since there isn't anything to care about or engage, the question is: are there any scares or gore worth sitting through the picture to enjoy or any naked or super cute actors? No, although several of the guys look so similar they are difficult to tell apart.

Not as good as the original, but still interesting to see some classic urban legends brought to life that the original left out.

Seriously one of the worst movies ever. From the writing to the directing this movie just crashes like a meth addict.

I'll go with the consensus here. This movie was barely watchable. Top it all off with a cheesy ending and you've got another of the hundreds of B-rate horror movies churned out each year.
