Upír z Feratu

Odd mix of black comedy and body horror is comparable to Cronenberg in its bizarre fusion of biology and technology, and it's sly in its suggestion that humans have destroyed the planet to such a degree that their own blood could be considered as an alternative source of energy. This radical absurdist idea is not properly developed, but Herz manages to create enough intrigue and mystery around his central conceit to keep it compelling, even if it falls short of its obvious potential.
