Eby Abraham (Mohanlal), an orphan who gets kicked back onto the streets by his foster-father Thomas Abraham's (M.G. Soman) wife (Valsala Menon) after his death, assumes guardianship of 9 orphan kids he finds under various circumstances. After moving to a new town, Eby & the kids are given a chance to better their life by a kind priest (Thilakan). Eby & rich kindhearted girl Annie (Karthika) also fall in love with each other.
