Une histoire d'amour

Released post posthumous, it's one of the greatest actors in French cinema, Louis Jouvet's, final film before dying of a heart attack at the age of 63. Always at its best when focusing on Jouvet and Georges Chamarat, going around trying to figure the lover's life out, going at those in the lovers life that made it difficult for them. Perhaps not the film that represents Jouvet's career the best, but it's a solid film full of characters, and the romance can certainly be enjoyed.
