This film does not care for your notions of what makes a film good. It does its own thing, and it has to be commended for that. There is more sexual chemistry between Prince and his cousin in this film than there is with him and Thomas.

I think, in most screwball comedies, you're supposed to be rooting for the two leads to finally get together. Here, you're just wishing they'd fall into the sea. There's no chemistry at all in the entire film (well, maybe between the roommates). Prince may have been an amazing musician, but his creative genius didn't reach to this poor movie.

This was a monumental fail for Prince. There is not a single element of this movie that is remotely believable. Thankfully it stars Kristin Scott Thomas at age 28 and she is magnificent. Prince is a terrible actor, and an even worse director. The parts of Tricky and Christopher were mostly asinine and incredibly stupid. The over arching plot was not hard to believe, but every bit of its implementation was garbage. I really can't recommend it. Score for Kristin Scott Thomas and Francesca Annis.

It's like a 2-hour perfume commercial. There are some genuinely funny moments. Jerome and Prince were a good comedic duo.

Sure, it's bad and cheesy all right. But it's also quite damn funny. Unintentionally most of the time.

A hot mess.

Every Prince album oughta had some sort of beautiful, weirdo movie to go with it.

While totally horrible, it was interesting to see into the fucked up mind of Prince.

I could not watch it all, it was too awful, too confusing, too horrific.
