Under Fiesta Stars

Oh my, Smiley Burnette has a little mini-me! That was all kinds of adorable. As if Frog couldn't get more goofy. So nice to see a B-western WITH a budget! Not only that, this Gene Autry film had a much more developed plot than normal for a Autry production. Usually it's all about the good natured mood between the characters. Sure, there was plenty of that here in Under Fiesta Stars (1941) too, but the action also developed nicely to a little climax. So a pretty damn good Gene Autry film.
