One of the "Censored 11" banned from T.V. syndication by United Artists in 1968 for alleged racism. Topsy and Little Eva buy uncle Tom from Simon Legree's Used Slave Co., but they can't keep up the payments. Topsy and Eva do a color switch under Legree's whip as Eliza save the day.

This gets a few points because the whole premise is just bizarre for a cartoon, but its still very bad, and very racist, obviously.

The racist stereotyping aside, this really isn't a good cartoon. The pacing is terrible and there really isn't anything worthwhile in the story.

I actually felt that this one wasn't quite as decidedly racist as the other Censored Eleven. Simon LeGree was the villain for abusing the slaves, after all. It's still not a very good cartoon, even if we do disregard the racial problems.
