Explores the question of whether it's ever too late to say 'I love you'. The story revolves around Lucy Kelson (Bullock), a brilliant but neurotic attorney, and her client (Grant), who is "charming, irresponsible and fabulously wealthy." A handful of mildly entertaining exchanges between the main leads makes this very passable. It is neither dragging, nor annoying, but it is instantly forgettable. SPOILER ALERT: The highlight of the film is clearly Donald Trump who is awesomely unexpected. Alicia Witt is memorable-ish too. What saves the film is that it doesn't take itself too seriously - mostly - and helps if the viewer doesn't take it too seriously either. It's a decent past time activity if the two conditions are met.

I seem to be of the minority opinion, but I actually like both Grant and Bullock and they work alright together, playing the very most stereotypical versions of themselves. The film is a low-effort, borderline nonsensical piece but it passes the time fine.

Glorious awkward mumbling elite man acting by Grant, clumsy intelligent fast talking can't-find-the-right-man woman acting by Bullock.

Marc Lawrence probably loves Bullock as he casts her here too. Riding on the success of Miss Congeniality, Bullocks behavior stays clumsy. Actually both leads don't bring anything new to the film. In a matter of fact, there is not much of chemistry between them and script doesn't offer surprises.

Two Weeks Notice successfully showcases Sandra Bullock's talented performance and Hugh Grant's charm, and they play off of each other relatively well. That being said, it has little to no character development, and very few of its comedy elements seem to stick, so the rom-com label feels rather misleading.

The two leads have real charm, and even a bit of chemistry. Watching them spar is rather fun. Not LISTENING to them, mind you--the writing is terrible. Someday I hope Sandra Bullock snags a good vehicle for her talents (Crash sure the hell wasn't it)--that could really be something. And she looked truly stunning an a fabulous dress at that final party.

Viewers should be given two weeks warning before watching this. How Hugh Grant has any sort career in acting remains the biggest mystery to humankind.

A pleasant romantic comedy, I'd say it's rewatchable together with another person and perhaps even alone, some of the jokes are to be remembered (like the taking care of business song during a certain scene, flippin hilarious). Not the best and not as good as say groundhog day, but decent. Definitely a film I'd recommend to a friend.

Cool Bullock/Grant funniness. + Romance. Not necessarily original, but well written, well directed, well performed....and, you know...Bullock/Grant funniness. :)

Has some real pacing problems, that in large part could have been solved if they had just started the movie with her already working for him and finding another way to establish her desire to do more benevolent work. They also should have mentioned that she had a boyfriend more than once in the first 40 minutes, because I had completely forgotten when it came back up again.

I wish I could say this is the low point of the careers of everyone involved, but with such talent as Lawrence, Grant and Bullock, that might not even be true.

Opposites were put under the same roof. Two extremely irretating actors bouncing around without a decent script. I hate this kind of comedies. I sat (partly) down with it to see Alicia Witt, but lost interest on story before she appeared...

Grant og Bullock standa sig illa í hlutverkum sem eru ótrúverðug. Söguþráðurinn er einfaldur, óspennandi og fyrirsjáanlegur. En þeir sem vilja sá ástarmynd verða sennilega ánægðir.

Funny and sweet. A great "opposites attract" movie. The nice thing, however, is that you see where the "opposites" help balance the other person.
