A romcom with a pretty contrived plot and predictable structure that is elevated by two strong lead performances.

Two Night Stand is an unexpected pleasure of a movie. It isn't your normal romance movie. The couple in this movie met after hooking up online. The premise might be a little unbelievable but it was unique which makes it special in my book. After hooking up, Teller and Tipton's characters have to find a way to stand each other until they can escape Teller's apartment in a winter storm ravaged Brooklyn. I found the relationship to be believable, funny, and cute. I would watch this again.

This films premise indicates a lot of the film will be driven by the depth added to the characters. Thanks to Teller and Tipton we were treated to a moderately enjoyable film with all the same stereotypes of the genre present. It does not sway from being the cute little film where the premise is designed to create a series of moments to make the audience smile. It is not to say smiling during a film is a bad thing but if it comes at the expense of your film hitting the next level, then it is bad

Has some nice ideas, but doesn't know how to handle them.
Miles Teller proving his promisingness once again, though.

Yaaawn...just like any other rom com: boy meets girl, girl gives boy a hard time, boy makes girl fall in love with him, boy screws up, girl storms off, boy shows up with flowers and they lived happily ever after! It's cute but really not that special.

As far as Rom-Coms go, Two Night Stand is moderately enjoyable. Teller and Tipton manage to bring enough cuteness, fun and silliness in to what is otherwise a predictable tale. The soundtrack keeps things upbeat and with a runtime under 90 minutes, the film doesn't overstay its welcome. Bizarrely, the characters are somewhat relatable, and somewhere along the line I may have developed a crush on Tipton's character. It's still ridiculous though.

Aww.... so damn corny. A movie about two people only, trapped together in an apartment, and one of them was bloody annoying. The other one was Miles Teller.

At first, I thought this was the kind of movie that would give me all the chance in the world to think of good ideas for funny rant reviews. But then it kinda gained some momentum and it actually started going somewhere, which meant I had to pay attention, so that sucked the fun out of it completely. Its plea for more and better communication in relationships is admirable, but the delivery is incredibly preachy. Overall just tiresome, predictable, and pandering to a young female demographic.

With suspension of disbelief for the first hour, it was surprisingly enjoyable. Then the last act was just amazingly batshit insane and ruined the whole thing

The ol' Jonah Hill shtick gets copied once again. Analeigh Tipton (can't act for sh-t) portrays a downright c-nt and the guy a clueless idiot. The script blows and everything is annoying, basically. In other words this flick blows.

I only watched this because I am an Analeigh Tipton fan. This girl definitely has the looks to become a big star (the jury is out on whether she has acting talent). However, in predictable YA fluff movies like this one, she will not get far. The movie is inoffensive and the leads have some chemistry, but the plot is just nonsensical in the second half. Would you forgive someone who sent you to jail? A badly-written forgettable flop, which should have starred Hilary Duff.

It's not bad. It's pretty predictable, if you read the blurb you can basically figure out the rest of it. But it does it alright, and there are some funny moments.
