A minor bit of Griffith moralism. Getting dumped by Marion Leonard really takes a lot out of a guy. But she was bad news, you could tell as she actually smoked a cigarette a bit at the her debauched buddies' alcohol-waving party. Mary Pickford shows up briefly as her sister at the start, in her first screen appearance (there'd be plenty of Griffith shorts to go for her before her heyday).
