Twinkle, Twinkle Lucky Stars

Two groups of guys: one bunch of perverts spending all their time trying to grope girls, and one police trio tracking down real baddies and beating them up. How does one bring them together for a single action comedy? Well, Sammo doesn't seem to have given that question his best thought. Still, seeing Jackie and the boys kicking butt together again is worth it. And Sammo dual-wielding tennis rackets is also worth it.

While it still isn't able to duplicate the magic of the first one, the third instalment of this series is slightly better and funnier than the second. For action fans this is worth picking up anyhow, because of two great fight sequences including a very young Andy Lau, even if like in the previous entries Jackie Chan's role is a very small sideshow.

Highlight: Sammo with two tennis rackets vs. the japanese fighter with a pair of sai. Nice "Le Samourai" reference, too!
