Then this film is for you. The author of the “teen novel” for teachers and journalists it’s based on is wildly overpraised by the German literary scene he was a part of, but not entirely without merit.

Much lower than expected!!!

has great merits for a strong and good-tempered direction; great work in putting the movie together (edition, soundtrack, each moments atmopheres); a rare exemplar of decent recent work about teenagers; has, also, great merits for its unpretentiousness; only a few moments of narrative hesitation (specially when Isa appears in the story).
