Trinity Is Still My Name

Upon returning to this recently, I conclude that it's redundant and forgettable. They should have called it quits after the first Trinity movie.

Not as fun as the first one, still amusing enough.

Iʼve only seen about two Spencer-Hill films so I canʼt comment on how this relates to the previous one. Theyʼre the comedic counterpart to Leone, more honest because theyʼre unequivocally goofy. The Wild West of the European imagination is even less real – and less consequential – than the American one. Apparently seemed quite violent to the Bildungsbürgertum of the time (Ludwig Hirsch, “Jugendfrei”), but itʼs kid-smashing-toys-together violence, not the gore that has since conquered Hollywood.

Falls off a bit towards the end and maybe leans a bit too heavily into the comedy, but still maintains a lot of the fun of the previous film in spite of its overall aimlessness

Boring.

A touch better than the first thanks to better pacing, and a better series of setups for the comedy and action.

Just more of the same in this sequel made just a year after the first Trinity movie. The story is less interesting and it's much more comedic than the first one. Some slapstick was just too much. Entertaining, but forgettable Hill&Spencer vechicle.

Good fist fights and shoot em ups but it's not as funny as it tries to be and is actually rather dull.

One of the best Hill and Spencer vehicles. Loved it as a kid, but it is way to simple for my movie taste nowadays.

God I remember this from the Big screen when I was like 11 or something. I imagine this would be as dumb as now...
