Trigger Warning

I'm always cheering for Alba and she brought gravitas to this. Felt her anger. Believable in an action role. I also like revenge flicks, even though this one is a little generic in its plotting/pacing. But I also appreciate how it put a little bit of effort into its action sequences, even if not every moment panned out well. I know people hate this but I didn't. Maybe I'm just easier to please with this genre.

Jessica Alba makes this worth watching. The action is not always as convincing as they wanted them to be, but they did a fairly good job of keeping the pace up. Fighting with minimal recovery time and with injuries was more than a bit annoying, but common these days. Despite the quite a few moments that ruined the realism it was entertaining. Excellent film production quality. Worth watching, but probably not for a second viewing.

"Trigger Warning" lacks a compelling narrative and is also burdened with weak storytelling. While the action scenes are entertaining, they lack realism, a common issue in many action films. It's watchable but ultimately forgettable.
