Not sure what to make of this. What has made this franchise work (for me at least) is that its tongue has always been firmly in cheek, but this drops alot of the humorous/fun tone & goes serious, trying to compete w/ the likes of Jurassic Park. That movie has ALOT more money & although they clearly spend more here, it can't compete & winds up feeling more like a knockoff. Surprisingly, it's still watchable enough. I also don't like the ending, but I can see why they thought it was necessary.

30 years after the first film comes by far the best sequel of the entire franchise. This time they let the Graboids and Shriekers be menacing again and that was a welcome change. Michael Gross was great as usual and Bill Heder was much better than Jamie Kennedy. If this is the end of the franchise it definitely goes out on top, if they decide on another one I hope they bring back Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward and maybe even Bill Heder.

Good actors, good concept and plot, ok effects, ok sound and music, ok cinematography but horrendous scriptwriting and directing.

Was gonna turn it off for good but King Burt returned and started talking about "self-licking ice cream cones" and that was good enough for me to keep watching.

Better than the two previous installments. There's a disappointing lack of Graboid screen time, but the setting is fun and it's definitely worth watching just to see Michael Gross return for one final outing.

How dare the Tremors series give us nonstop exposition and a tragic ending. Have a sense of humor! There are man-eating worms for crying out loud!
