A somewhat generic but still well played (with Yulai Lu especially effective in showing how out of his league he is) and told film. There is a huge fault at the end of one arc that needs to be ignored but it is still excellent in the way that it switches genres from a simple romance to a hardnosed conspiracy flick, can be genuinely unnerving, makes you wonder how shooting permission was obtained.
