This couldn't have been any more incomprehensible if it had been dubbed in Chinese, with or without subtitles. What a mess, with a breakneck at all costs momentum that never subsides. It doesn't flow, it smothers. And BTW, Che Guevara was a world class asshole. WTF! If they make another one and anybody sees me buying a ticket, please just shoot me.

I liked it more than the other Transformers movies so far. Less screen time for annoying human characters, the craziness dialed up to 11, and some good special effects. Still a stupid movie, average at best, but hey I had a fun time watching it even though it was super long.

Literally the easiest way to improve these movies is to make them shorter. Mainly by cutting out all the non-essential characters. And, most importantly, all the non-essential plot. I don't get it...

More loud, obnoxious nonsense from Michael Bay. Is it bad that I’m kind of happy about this underperforming and single-handedly getting him out of directing any more of these? I’m only rating it this high because Anthony Hopkins was delightfully silly (seriously why was he even in this?). I will say that I don’t think it felt nearly as long as Age of Extinction. But man, you can tell from that cliffhanger that the people behind the movie really don’t care about this franchise anymore.

It's not even a Transformers movie, it's a parody of it; it's every bad aspect that you can kind of forgive in prior movies amped up to extreme measures, which means bad dialogue, too much human, too long, stupid story, etc. The other ones, to some extent, had enough cool robot action to be decent, this does not. Even Prime sucked, and they could have had a cool Prime vs Everyone plot but he's basically on Earth for 5 mins before he's good again.

Transformers: The Last Knight is an assault on your ears, eyes, and brain. It hurts to watch, hurts to think about, and feels like theft of your money. The people who made this movie didn't care about making it good; it'll make money with or without effort, so why should they bother? It's way too long, unbelievably stupid, and borderline incomprehensible. Please, Michael Bay, I beg of you: Keep your promise this time to stop making these. It's clear that you don't want to.

While it's a improvement, it's everything you come to expect. Bay once again tries to use comedic relief that rarely works, however isn't so absurd. Wahlberg was pretty good, Hopkins seemed to have a lot of fun with this, and Duhamel was cool to have again, but I can't say I care for anyone else besides them, there were so many characters not needed. Bay shot the movie really well, the action was the best yet and with some color saturation, it was nice to look at. Not much else was here.

Someone give Anthony Hopkins an award now. Forget the rest of this dogshit, A. Hop makes this the best Transformers yet. I feel like this was supposed to be a 15 episode mini-series they chopped down into 160 minutes. Also, pick a format, Mike - flat or scope. Don't wildly change back and forth every time there's an edit.

Horrible, for sure. And it should definitely have been way beneath an actor of Sir Hopkins' considerable talents. But it's not unwatchable.

Painfully awful. This may be the worst movie I have ever seen when factoring in budget. Everything falls flat, the writing, the acting, the action scenes, the CGI. The story is insanity , but hey if you were waiting patiently for the Transformers/King Arthur tie in, your prayers have been answered. Also it seemed as if it was roughly six hours long.

The plotting is either incomprehensible or downright cheesy (or both-see the climax at Stonehenge with the staff of Merlin), character movements are difficult to make sense of (see Duhamel's Colonel and co. chase, then join forces with their target; the Earl suddenly ditching), and besides that, it just goes on too long. The action's good though, and some surprising and genuinely funny moments of levity (see Merlin's opening plea; Cogman's organ playing; Agent Simmons in Cuba) help break it up.

Such a long, dumb, noisy headache of a film that not only does it not succeed as turn-off-your-brain entertainment, its two and a half hours actually manage to feel like exhausting mental busywork. Nevertheless, it amazingly still holds together slightly better as a logically cohesive narrative than Alien: Covenant.

This is the worst one so far. Not only a mockery of the "canon" of pervious Transformers media, but also a shoddy, horribly-written film with nausea inducing direction. The actors are all at their worst, with Wahlberg at The Happening levels of badness. Definitely one of the worst movies that may ever come out of this franchise.

Basically a 90's-narrative-with-2017-visual-effects genre mash-up: part action, part war film, part comedy, Sci-Fi and fantasy, epic in scale but, probably, if we're being honest, not a "good" movie when held against most others. Too long, too convoluted, cuts the nuts off of evil Prime, too genre-diverse (without being incredible at any of them) and far away from what would make these movies great. But when held against its namesakes, fans likely get what they want and it isn't the worst entry.

I don't know why so many people hated this movie. If you like the series so far, you'll surely like this one too. Besides this is actually the only transformers movie that has a decent storyline. Couple of unnecessary action shots here and there but all in all this is yet another good movie for the franchise. But again I have a soft spot for the franchise.

I don't know if it's because I'm getting old, but this was just so exhausting to watch. It. just. doesn't. let. up. For two and a half hours. The previous entries were like this as well (and I didn't mind them), this one is just more so. I come to this franchise for the stupendous budgets and ridiculous plots, and this one delivers the most batshit insane one yet. So it has that going for it, if you can get through it without getting a migraine.

Now that Michael Bay learned to stabilize the camera, he decided to use multiple format, which is even more annoying when it's 3 different aspect ratio in less than 5s in the same scene.

This is not a movie, it is like a very, very long gimmick string, an extremely expensive piece of special effects advertisement, it is a good example of having "too much of a good thing". It is borderline unwatchable, and this is coming from a person who grew up with Transformers... The first two movies are alright, but this one cannot be watched even for technical appreciation.

Transformer meet King Arthur? Ludicrous! Honestly there is enough to enjoy in this last entry. The plot is more comprehensible, the comedy even funny at times (the English robot butler). Hopkins does a fine job. Still this can't mask it’s overlong and bloated, again. Prime example: it introduces a new young girl, which if she was made the focus point could have worked, but now she just hangs around Wahlberg as unnecessary weight for the plot, so could and should been deleted.

Does what the series should've done three films ago and goes conceptually bug-nuts. Combining sentient alien machines and Arthurian legend? Sir Anthony Hopkins palling around with a ninja robot butler? Pretending that Mark Wahlberg is chaste? Why not!? The franchise's underlying issues remain but at least everyone finally seems comfortable with it. And they finally remembered that the Transformers can also, you know, transform into cars and stuff for cool chase scenes.

Bay's last entry in the franchise and with producers confirming they won't be continuing the ending that screams sequel, this is a very unsatisfying end to the Bayformers series. As it's own entity, the visuals in TLK are frequently astounding and given how much I love my eye candy, this carried me a long way. But again the runtime was far too long, and the plot and direction frequently incomprehensible.

While still prey to the worst indulgences of the series (including stupefying overlength) this improbably emerges as the best of the TRANSFORMERS saga, with silly bits of comedy landing far more often than not (Hopkins' flat-out vaudeville turn is a delight) and a virtual absence of the leery tendencies of the previous entries. Fine action scenes enacted by a likable cast and the shift in locale to the UK (making the second half feel more like NATIONAL TREASURE) is a refreshing change of pace.

By far the worst film in the franchise. They brought bad the humor and comedy from the first three films but as with those films most if not all the humor fails miserably. Another thing that I thought was poorly done as the editing and the dialogue. The editing was really sloppy and you could tell that the different takes didn't match up well. The dialogue was cringe inducing a lot of the time and wasn't even so bad its good. On the plus side the movie didn't have a lot of down time so ... [Full review]

Might be the worst of the bunch. I was just astounded at how dumb it was. Dumb story, dumb action, dumb dialogue, dumb performances, dumb direction, dumb effects. I really couldn't tell you what happened in the film. Certain actors make it hard for me to respect them when they're in something like this. The constantly changing aspect ratio was super distracting and annoying. The sexist humour is painful. It's at least an hour too long. It was just excruciating to get through.

I gave this movie a 0. Probably it worths sth around 70. But I chose 0. Not for the unnecessary scenes between humans. Not for the non-existent scenario which would be worse than 99 out 100 written by 5year olds. Not for the utterly destroyed timeline after the 4 previous movies. Not even for the mediocre acting by almost all the actors, including Hopkins. I gave it 0 out of respect to my younger self who cried when Optimus died in the first animated movie 31 years ago. Nothing more to say...

Expecting anything more than schlock from a Transformers movie is folly at this point, so the The Last Knight delivers the expected action, set-pieces and mindless drivel. The script is awful, the CGI blends badly, and the editing is poor. There's an entire sub-plot that serves as an F-U to physics, and the boring action cements Bay as a skilled director devoid of talent. I was pleasantly surprised by the humour, particularly Cogman who turns the score diegetic, and Tucci's drunken Merlin.
