The Honeymooner Jackie Gleason enlists to attempt a Abbott & Costello knock-off with Jack Durant. With Jackie going all Gleason on us, Tramp, Tramp, Tramp! (1942) becomes a surprisingly funny rip-off comedy. Sure, it might struggle to bust out of the Abbott & Costello act, but Gleason gives it more than enough Costello to make the laughs flow.
