This snowy Bob Steele vehicle felt more like a dramatic western than a action based one, which was not what these poverty row productions was finetuned for. Slow and lifeless acting, but the winter landscapes did help with the overall feel of Trailing North (1933). Not often one saw these little pictures take the time to film in the snow.
