Flat and tepid drama is a low-key, inconsequential drone - hard to be too tough on a movie so listless and uninspired, feeling like a low-budget 90s TV movie but for the participation of Travolta, who appears equally tired and sad. Perhaps strangely comes to life only during the end-credit "cookies" where the cast at least seem to be having a good time! To paraphrase Walter Matthau, a movie to be pitied rather than scorned.
