Tower of Terror

Dark lighthouse tale of spies and illusions of love, but the way it's handled Tower of Terror (1941) becomes too camp to be appreciated. Movita craps it up the most with her poor acting, while Wilfrid Lawson is the reason to see it as the cheesy mad lighthouse keeper with a hook. Michael Rennie was just terribly bland as the hero. There are parts where you can appreciate the haunting atmosphere, but director Lawrence Huntington fumbles this pretty badly.
