Tower Block

Well...that was terrible. It started out interesting enough - but the outcomes made me feel stupid for assuming they'd avoid doing the obvious with a film like this. And the ending...wow, I mean, it's like they just couldn't figure out how to end it and did so in the stupidest way possible. On the plus side, I did enjoy Jack O'Connell and his performance, although that's like looking for a silver lining on a turd shaped cloud.

This is one of these ideas that pop up in a bar conversation and sound great when you are drunk. Unfortunately somebody should have stopped them when they actually started making this movie. A bad idea story wise and actually trying to build a frame work around it. It's just stupid and full of plot holes and illogical choices. I expected more from James Moran.

A silly and predictable thriller made watchable by a fun bunch of brit telly and film actors, until the really terrible ending.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Jack O'Connell stole it, in my opinion.

An exquisitely tense, ingenious, well-constructed thriller. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense in retrospect, and probably wouldn't hold up on second viewing--most of the fun and suspense lies in watching to see who buys it next, and how--but it's a deliriously entertaining one-time watch, and directors Nunn and Thompson establish themselves as talents to keep your eye on.
