Tout le monde aime Jeanne

This was pretty good. A kind of movie that you stream from MUBI, and while it's nothing earth-shattering, it provides entertainment for 90 mins and might even make you reflect your own life. Blanche Gardin was good as the lead and made her character feel like a real person. I could have managed without the small animations that portray her inner voice. They felt like unnecessary add-ons to make the film more quirky. Plus point for Lisbon which is an underused location.

Celine Devaux creates something, soft, naive and warm from the cold, hard and - inevitably- depressing aftermath of tragedy.

cute and soft family drama, making you think about your own family relationships, leaving you with mixed feelings.
