9 Nov 2024 - Em va perdre de pressa, em semblava simple i poc creïble, un conte que no m'atrapava. El personatge d'ell em creava rebuig, probablement per enveja. Poc a poc vaig anar acceptant-la i trobant-hi bellesa. Ara, els personatges molt indefinits i una mica titelles. El que va dir la Marion capta a la perfecció el millor i el pitjor de la peli: it's the worst to get over affairs, because they seemed perfect, they are filled with lil moments that aren't realistic in the long run.

This might be the best film that Baltasar Kormákur has directed and very different from his usual work; especially his Hollywood action films. It's ambitious and spans decades and continents; most of it takes place in London, with small bits in Iceland and eventually Japan. It feels like a big production with meticulously created sets and period details. It's quite moving, without going overboard and has some effective comedy (and funny covid-era observations) spread around the runtime.
