That's entertainment I guess, and as this It's a total cheap kitsch - and that west poprock subculture being mostly unpleasant which make hard to enjoy primarily the show,... but it could be seen as some post cold war synthesis of their mass models - the brave soldiers and the pop stars and so to provoke some thoughts about the human condition

Entertaining, surreal, and hilarious. Imagine meeting Lynyrd Skynyrd 30 years ago and telling them that one day "Sweet Home Alabama" would be performed by 10 guys with giant pointy shoes and giant pointy pompadours, backed by the Alexandrov Red Army Ensemble, in front of 70,000 screaming Finlandians. A fun, charming music & dance performance, and a touching display of unity between neighboring countries with a history of animosity.
