Torpedo Run

You don't want to watch this film for its action, because that's the weakest part. Its strongest is the interaction between Ford and Borgnine, but the script isn't on a par with the actors. Altogether it makes for an average movie.

I'm a fan of sub movies in general, and this one more than delivered. Quite an emotional story and outstanding performances by Glenn Ford and Ernest Borgnine.

A study on the impacts of war on those involved. Slightly dated but worth watching for some strong characterisation from Ford and Borgnine. The war is more of a backdrop to the story of self-doubt and trust under pressure. If you make allowances for the special effects this is still a good story.
