The story becomes a mess, but there are good musical numbers, especially the rhythm/dance sequences. Hal Le Roy does his final film flapping his long legs around. He was criminally underused in 30s musicals with his goofy tap dancing style! But Too Many Girls (1940) gave chances for a bunch of other actors. Van Johnson can briefly be seen. And more significantly for this movie Desi Arnaz makes a big splash falling right on his face in his very first scene with Lucille Ball!
