This was an underwhelming and relatively dull musical with forgettable numbers and an uninteresting romance. Rita Hayworth gives her best with the meager material. Marc Platt's dancing was great but he got absolutely nothing to do.

The plot is all kinds of meh, so it rides heavily on the strong personalities involved. Mainly that of Rita Hayworth, with Janet Blair for extra dazzling effect.
