Tom and Huck

They don't make gems like this anymore.

JTT (Jonathon Taylor Thomas to you) makes a pretty sucky Tom Sawyer and Brad Renfro kinda sucks as Huck. Put them together and you get Suck and Suck. Now try to say "sucks as Huck" 10 times fast.

All these points are for nostalgia. But I still think I would like it even if I watched it today.

Mark Twain reinterpreted as generic junk food pabulum for kids. But I have to admit I watched it several times as, you guessed it, a kid.

Not bad when I was young but now isn't anything remarkable. Not as bad as people say though. That mine is incredible.

I liked JTT and Brad Renfro... I thought they were believable as the characters, but this didn't really work as an adaptation of anything by Mark Twain

Whatever.

I loved it when I was a kid, I can't help but think that with a keener eye for bad acting and a bad plot though I'd feel the same way now though.

Injun Joe used to scare me as a kid.

Tom and Huck can come off a little to freaky in part for the audience it's meant for. Though it makes up for it with a perfectly cast and for the most part harmless Disney literary adventure.
