Tokiwa-so no seishun

70 where "70" reflects that this seems to be a labour of love such that non manga devotees may not know enough background to properly appreciate it? Those fans may raise the rating far higher (sorry to personalise the review but it seems that kind of film). A general ignorance was the case for me anyway, & I never really got into this tale, which to me was meandering & glacially slow - a lack of pace may be a characteristic of Japanese cinema & usually doesn't worry me. Well shot, sets divine.
